Your Turn – P3

Look, let it go.

The sun is already out,

No need to keep crying.

Well, it might help your heart.

But it still pains your soul.

It’s over. Trash it out.

It’s hard to phantom what you can’t deny.

Still when the blinds are open, you cannot see the light.

The horizon seems brighter,

Like the past you just thought about.

The waves sound calmer

Like the music you once heard in your dreams.

Alone you are planning for the future.

Like a needle, the path seems straight.

But the process feels stingier, sharp, painful.

There it goes again.

Have you heard of Sahara Desert or

Better have you cried; the tears fell no more?

Hydration or depression,

Only you know.

It’s hard to think that this season will change.

Though it will if you are willing.

Try to seat at that random bench.

You know which one I’m talking about.

The one no blinds can shutter its light.

You are afraid you may start to wonder again. Why this? Why that?

Just know isolation is also your decision.

Quickly got out before it gets dark.

Anywhere you are!

Only you know!

Your daddy or mommy don’t care.

Why should they? If they are the cause.

But you are too old to keep holding grudges.

Or better, too old to keep blaming the past.

The life they led must not be the you live.

Did you hear that?

It must not be the one you model on purpose. Your choice!

Just like the music you’ve listened to more than a few times.

Sounds good, you can’t get enough of it.

Blast – remembering the beginning.

That’s how everything started.

Except, now you know better. Only you know.

You can’t go back.

You need to let the cut heal.

You’ve heard that there is better.

It’s up to you now. Stop crumbling.

Whoever. They’ve done their part.

Now, it’s your turn. It’s time. Get up.
