Happy Monday
Second Monday of June!
How are you doing today?
I hope all is going well. If not, hang in there. Tomorrow will be brighter than today. Not talking in terms of forecast. Although that can be true too.
But sincerely, everything will be fine eventually. Whatever that’s stressing you out. You will make it, no doubt about that!
You have probably thought long enough about the problems. Especially the ones out of your reach.
Now, allow yourself to sit and try to find some peace while waiting for the solutions to be established.
You have probably cried over something (big or small). Please don’t stay isolated for too long. Wherever place you chose to hide at. It can be your bedroom, your house, any dark place you are laying, sitting, or standing at. Allow yourself to get out of there and switch on the light. Brush your teeth. Get off your pyjamas and walk under the sunlight. It’ll do you wonders little by little. You will see. You’ll notice sparkles of the heavens kindling layers of joy bit by bit.
I am not saying that you will automatically be happy. But you will be able to flash a smile here and there. Your lips will be able to stretch from one corner to another. Something you’ve been unable to do.
Go ahead and walk in the park.
Let the sunshine hit your beautiful face with its glory.
Tilt your head above and let the air blow its breeze on your lovely skin.
After a few days, enroll yourself into a healthy club and attend it a couple of times a week.
It might not be easy at first. But you have to start from somewhere.
No matter what you want to change. Make the first move.
If you can afford to go into a coffee shop or a restaurant. Take yourself there once in a while instead of ordering take-out all the time.
If you can afford to go shopping, go buy a few new clothes. It’s time to let go of that 199.. jacket. Come on. It’s hanging by its thread. It has served its time. Let it go and buy a new one. Allow yourself to have some variety and color in your wardrobe again. It might be true that black suits you best. But, hey… you can’t tell me a bit of olive green your grace when you have not even tried it yet.
Be happy and stay healthy. Your life is worth living.
